The first day of this 3-day course covers massage techniques for Pre-Sport and Post-Sport Massage, equivalent to warming-up and cooling-down muscles all sportspeople need to get the best performance possible.

The 2nd and 3rd days of this course in Sports Massage concentrates on specific muscle groups and covers the Sports Massage routines to assist with:
- Iliotibial band syndrome
- Calf Strain
- Achilles Tendon
- Upper Back and neck
- Lower Back
There is a pre-requisite of Swedish Massage course, or similar full-body Massage, prior to taking this course. A qualification in Anatomy & Physiology is also required. If you do not have these yet, please see our Sports Massage Package under “Specialist Course Packages”.
Attendance: 3 days + assessment day
Case studies: 20 treatments, to be done outside the classroom
Assessment: Students have 6 months from initial training date to complete case studies and assessment otherwise you must repeat Day 2 at further cost.
Accreditation: Complementary Medical Association, IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine)
