DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE – 3 days

Deep Tissue Massage has a number of benefits including reaching those underlying knots and tight muscles which are difficult to reach with regular massage techniques

This course begins with 2 full days of Swedish Massage, for which you receive a separate, fully-accredited, qualification.

This is the foundation of all massage techniques and gives you a good platform for your massage practice.

The 3rd day of this course covers the Advanced massage techniques of Deep Tissue Massage, which work deeper into the underlying tissues, allowing you to iron out knots and relieve tightness in the muscles and connecting fibres.

The deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension.

The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia, using deep pressure from forearms, fists, knuckles and elbows with strokes that are firm and slow.

Ideal for the treatment of major muscle groups like the legs or back. It can also be used to relieve strain and treat issues in joints and tendons.

(NOTE: If you already have a qualification in A&P you may be exempt from retaking this module, but no discount will be allowed for this)
