If you have a teaching qualification or are willing to train for one (PTLLS training can be arranged) you could be running your own training school in a matter of days!!
We have 2 options available to you:
Option 1: I will help you to set up your own training school, in your own chosen name, with up to 14 courses, all fully accredited to Level 2 and Level 3 by the Guild of Holistic Therapists.
· With this option I would work with you to get your college up and running and be available for advice and assistance for a further period thereafter, all for a flat fee of £5,000.
· NOTE: There would be nothing further to pay to me - no ongoing expenses and no royalties etc. – every penny you make would be your own and you set your own course fees.
Option 2: The second (most affordable) option is for you to run your training school as a branch of Gentle Touch Therapy Training College.
The way this works is:
· You can teach any of the courses listed above that you are qualified to give treatments in, provided you also have a teaching qualification. (This can be arranged via the Guild at a cost of £325 + VAT for a BTEC Level 4 qualification, PTLLS).
· You choose the dates you want to teach on, and source your own students, although I will also I advertise your courses on our website and on the various directories I am registered with such as Healthy Pages.
· I pay Gentle Touch tutors a daily fee of £90 per student per day, so the more students you have on the course the more you will earn. We usually stick to 1 - 4 students, as this works better for intensive fast-track training.
· I provide an electronic version of the course manual which forms the basis of the teaching and suggest a session plan. You print out the manuals for the students. Our courses are structured so that the main part of the day is practical with a small amount of theory to be covered first thing.
· After you have taught a course you confirm to me and I send out the certificate to the student and pay your tutor fee.
· You obviously need somewhere to work from – either your therapy room, salon or suitable workspace at home.
· You need teaching insurance which can be added to your own personal insurance.
· You could be up and running in a few days and for the cost of your insurance upgrade, and your teaching certificate if you don’t already have this.
